Both variants are paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The RWD model accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in approximately 3.5 seconds, while the quattro variant achieves this in about 3.1 seconds. Top speeds are 204 mph and 199 mph, respectively.

Limited Edition: R8 GT

To commemorate the R8's final production year, Audi introduces the limited-edition R8 GT. Limited to 333 units globally, the R8 GT features:

602 horsepower V10 engine with RWD.

Enhanced transmission for quicker shifts.
Torque Rear Drive mode with seven settings for controlled oversteer.
Weight reduction of approximately 44 pounds through lightweight components.
Distinctive black badging and carbon-fiber aerodynamic elements.

This model accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 3.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 199 mph.

Interior and Technology

The R8's cabin combines luxury with driver-focused design:

12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit digital gauge cluster serving as both instrument panel and infotainment display.

Standard features include navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
Available upgrades like a 13-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system.

While the interior offers premium materials and comfort, cargo space is limited to 4 cubic feet in the front trunk.
